He was the Chief Executive Officer of Jacobs Holding AG since 2015. He is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Barry Callebaut. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Adecco from 2009 to 2015, and as Chief Executive Officer of Barry Callebaut from 2002 to 2009. He started his professional career in 1980 as a consultant at Arthur Andersen. Between 1980 and 1997, he held executive positions at Wang, Apple, Sun International and the Belgian TV station VTM. He holds a degree in Marketing Management from Universiteit Gent, a degree in Business Management from University of London, a degree in Business Management from INSEAD or Institut Europeen dAdministration des Affaires, France, and a Masters degree in Engineering from Universite Libre de Bruxelles . since 2016.
