Mr. Claus V. Hemmingsen no longer serves as Member of the Executive Board and Vice Chief Executive Officer at A.P. Moeller Maersk AS effective as of the end of June 2019 . He was Member of the Executive Board since 2007 and he was appointed Vice Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective as of October 1, 2016. He was Chief Executive Officer of Energy Division in the Company from October 1, 2016 till 2017. He no longer serves as Chief Executive Officer of Maersk Drilling within the Company, effective as of October 1, 2016. He has held this position since 2007. He joined the Company in 1981. His other management duties include DFDS AS Danske Rederier, Danish Chinese Business Forum, Den A.P. Moellerske Stoettefond and International Chamber of Shipping. He has supplemented his education with management courses at London Business School and Cornell University and received an Executive MBA from IMD Business School, Lausanne, Switzerland in November 2007. since 2017.
