Mr. John P. Neafsey is Independent Chairman of the Board of Alliance Resource Management GP LLC., the General Partner of Alliance Resource Partners LP. He is also Chairman of the Conflicts Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee. Mr. Neafsey is President of JN Associates, an investment consulting firm formed in 1993. Mr. Neafsey served as President and CEO of Greenwich Capital Markets from 1990 to 1993 and as a Director since its founding in 1983. Positions that Mr. Neafsey held during a 23year career at The Sun Company include Director Executive Vice President responsible for Canadian operations, Sun Coal Company and Helios Capital Corporation Chief Financial Officer and other executive and director positions with numerous subsidiary companies.
