Mr. Made Sukada serves as an Independent Commissioner of PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk since April 15, 2014. He obtained a degree in Accounting from Universitas Padjajaran, Indonesia, in 1977 and Master of Arts in Economics from University of Pittsburgh, USA in 1984. He held directorship position for 12 years at Central Bank of the Republic of Indonesia, including gaining the experience of leading the directorate in charge of formulating policy proposals and implementation of monetary policy. His last position was as an expert staff of the Board of Governors before finally retiring in April 2010. After retirement, he was assigned to work parttime as an advisor to the BI Board of Governors until May 2014. He was an Independent Party of the Risk Monitoring Committee of PT Bank Permata Tbk . He began his career at Bank Indonesia in 1979 as Credit Analyst, and after which he received a scholarship to study at the University of Pittsburgh, USA . After obtaining a master degree, he served as a junior economist at the headquarter and subsequently was promoted as a head section. He also served as a Representative Officer at Bank Indonesia New York and then was promoted as Deputy Director at the Directorate of Monetary Management in 1995 and as Director in the same directorate in 1998. He became the Director of Foreign Exchange Management Directorate before being assigned to represent the Government of Indonesia in the IMFWashington D.C. for 2 years as Alternate Executive Director. Thereafter, he was the Director of the Monetary Policy and Economic Research Directorate at BI . since 2014.
