Mr. Jose Miguel Morales Dasso serves as Director of Compania de Minas Buenaventura S.A.A. since July 31, 2012. He has also acted as Member of the Executive Committee of Yanacocha since 1995. In addition to this, he has served as Member of the Board of Almacenera del Peru SA, Inversiones Cosepa SA, Hotel Costa del Pacifico SA, El PacificoPeruano Suiza Compania de Seguros and of Instituto Nacional de Derecho de Mineria y Petroleo, serving as its Chairman of the Board of Directors from 1989 to 1990. In February 2003, he was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sociedad Nacional de Mineria, Petroleo y Energia and held this post till January 31, 2005. On March 16, 2005, he was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Confederacion Nacional de Instituciones Empresariales Privadas and served until 2007. He has graduated in Law from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru in 1968 and completed the Sloan Program in Business Management at the Stanford University Business School in 1976. since 2012.

Compania de Minas Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Compania's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Compania inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Compania.
