Ltd., a jointventure producing an Englishlanguage newspaper in Shanghai. Prior to joining Shanghai Daily, Dr. Maguire was a Founding Chief Executive Officer at economic development company Advance Cairns. He also has held senior management and editorial positions in various international media organizations such as The Sunday Times, Perth, The Cairns Post and Sunday Morning Post, Hong Kong. Dr. Maguire obtained his Doctoral degree in Business Administration from Edith Cowan University and Masters degrees in Business Administration, Regional Development and International Tourism Management respectively from James Cook University, University of Western Australia and Southern Cross University of Australia. Dr. Maguire is the exChairman of Cairns chapter of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
