Mr. Cees de Jong no longer serves as President, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Executive Board of Chr Hansen Holding AS effective as of June 1, 2018. He has held the position since April 1, 2013. He is Doctor of Medicine from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam combined with MBA degree from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. His professional career started in 1989 with GistBrocades, where he held different positions including Managing Director for the Industrial Pharmaceutical division. Following GistBrocades acquisition by DSM in 1998, he was appointed President of the AntiInfectives division of DSM. In 2000, he joined Campina as President for the Industrial Products Division, and from 2003 to 2007, he worked for Quest International as Group Vice President and Head of the Flavor division. In 2007, he joined Crucell, and as Chief Operating Officer, he led the company through a transformation process to become a fully integrated biopharmaceutical company until 2011 when it was acquired by Johnson Johnson. He is NonExecutive Director on the Supervisory Board of ForFarmers N.V. since 2013.
