Mr. Francisco DSouza is Vice Chairman of the Board of Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporationrationration. He was our Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors since 2007. He also served as our President from 2007 to 2012. Mr. DSouza joined Cognizant as a cofounder in 1994, the year it was started as a division of The Dun Bradstreet Corporationrationration, and was previously our Chief Operating Officer from 2003 to 2006 and held a variety of other senior management positions at Cognizant from 1997 to 2003. Mr. DSouza has served on the Board of Directors of General Electric Company, or GE, since 2013, where he is currently a member of the Audit Committee and the Technology and Industrial Risk Committee. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Carnegie Mellon University, as CoChairman of the Board of Trustees of The New York Hall of Science and on the Board of Directors of the U.S.India Business Council since 2019.
