From 1994 to 2004, Mr. Stein served as an executive of Greenpoint Financial Corporationrationration, a 25 billion bank holding company, and prior thereto was an Associate Director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporationrationration, Division of Resolutions. Since February 2019, Mr. Stein is a member of the Board of Directors of Ocwen Financial Corporation and, from 2017 to 2018, prior to its acquisition by Ocwen Financial Corporationrationration, was a director of PHH Corporationrationration. Mr. Stein is a director of Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporationrationration. since 2017.

Dime Community Bancshares Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Dime Community's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Dime Community inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Dime.
