He is Director of CNP Assurances SA, Director of Dassault Aviation Sa, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of EDF Sa, Chairman of EDF Energy Holdings Ltd, Director of EDF International Sa, Director of FCC Fomento de Construciones y Contratas SA, Director of Natixis SA, Chairman of Transalpina di Energia Srl, Director of Veolia Environnement Sa, Member of the Supervisory Board of Veolia Eau, Chairman of Veolia Propetr and Chairman of Veolia Transport. He gained a Bachelor degree from Hautes Etudes Commerciales in 1971.
