Professional career JeanPierre Clamadieu began his career as a ministerial adviser in various French government departments, in particular working for the Minister of Industry before serving as technical adviser to the Minister of Labor. In 1993 he joined the RhoonePoulenc group, where he held a number of senior management positions. In 2003 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Rhodia group, and then its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 2008. In September 2011, following Rhodias merger with Solvay, JeanPierre Clamadieu was appointed ViceChairman of Solvays Executive Committee and Chairman of Rhodias Board of Directors. Since May 2012, JeanPierre Clamadieu was Chairman of Solvays Executive Committee and a member of its Board of Directors. Current directorships and offices Director and Preesident of Comite Executif of Solvay, Director of AXA, and Airbus, ViceChairman of the Executive Committee of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Director of France Industrie. since 2018.
