Amb. R. Nicholas Burns is an Independent Director of Entegris Inc. He served on the Governance Nominating Committee, assuming the position of Chairman of that Committee in 2016, and, since 2015, on the Management Development Compensation Committee. He is currently the Goodman Family Professor of The Practice of Diplomacy and International Relations, Kennedy School, Harvard University. Ambassador Burns served in the United States Foreign Service for twentyseven years until his retirement in April 2008. He served as Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs from 2005 to 2008. From 2001 to 2005 he was U.S. Ambassador to NATO. Prior to that from 1997 to 2001 he was U.S. Ambassador to Greece. He is Director of the Aspen Strategy Group and Senior Counselor at the Cohen Group. He is on the Board of Directors of The Atlantic Council and a number of other nonprofit organizations. From October 2014 to January 2017, he served as a member of Secretary of State John Kerrys Foreign Affairs Advisory Board. The Board of Directors has concluded that by reason of his distinguished career as a diplomat and of his expertise in world affairs, Mr. Burns should serve as a director of the Company. since 2011.

Entegris Leadership Team
