Mr. Samyn is a market development engineer, a graduate from Ecole de Commerce E.Solvay, where he has held research and teaching posts since 1970. His career began in the Mouvement Cooperatif Belge in 1972, after which he moved on to Groupe Bruxelles Lambert in late 1974. After a year of selfemployment, in 1983, he joined the FrereBourgeois group, where he currently is Appointed. He further serves as ViceChairman and Appointed Director of CNPNPM. since 1987.

Groep Brussel Lambert Leadership Team
Elected by the shareholders, the Groep Brussel's board of directors comprises two types of representatives: Groep Brussel inside directors who are chosen from within the company, and outside directors, selected externally and held independent of Groep.
