Mr. Peter J. Kight is Independent Director of Huntington Bancshares Inc. Mr. Kight served as cochairman and managing partner and as senior advisor with Comvest Partners, a private investment firm providing equity and debt capital to middle market companies across the United States, including financial services and technology companies, with over 1.2 billion in capital under management. Previously, Mr. Kight served as director and vice chairman of Fiserv following Fiservs acquisition of CheckFree, a leading provider of electronic commerce services and products, in December 2007. Mr. Kight founded CheckFree in 1981. Mr. Kight served on the board of directors of Fiserv from 2007 to 2012. As founder, chairman and chief executive officer of CheckFree, Mr. Kight was an innovator in providing electronic funds transfer services to businesses and consumers, and in developing infrastructures to support new services that enable and simplify the electronic movement and management of personal and business finances. Under Mr. Kights leadership, CheckFree expanded its scope to multiple types of payments and processing infrastructures, leveraging business intelligence to detect and prevent fraud, electronic billing, reconciliation, and operational risk management capabilities through internal development and nearly 30 acquisitions. Mr. Kight currently serves on the boards of Blackbaud, Inc. and Thunder Bridge Acquisitions, Ltd. Mr. Kight has served on the boards of director for Akamai Technologies, Inc. from 2004 to 2012 and for Manhattan Associates, Inc. from 2007 to 2011 since 2012.
