Mr. Richard W. Neu is an Independent Director of Huntington Bancshares Inc. He is Retired Chairman, MCG Capital Corporationrationration. Mr. Neu served as chairman of the board of the Washington, D.C.based MCG Capital Corporationration from 2009 to 2015, until its sale to PennantPark Floating Rate Capital Ltd. He also served as chief executive officer from October 2011 to November 2012. MCG was a publicly traded business development corporation providing financing to middle market companies throughout the United States. He first joined the MCG board in 2007, and served as a member of the audit, nominating and corporate governance, and the valuation and investment committees. From 1995 to 2004, Mr. Neu served as executive vice president, chief financial officer, treasurer, and director for both Charter One Financial, Inc. and Charter One Bank. He assumed this role following the merger of First Federal of Michigan and Charter One Financial, Inc. Mr. Neu joined First Federal of Michigan in 1985 as chief financial officer, and was elected to the board of directors in 1992. Mr. Neu has served on the board of Tempur Sealy International, Inc. since 2015 and is currently its lead director. He also serves on the Tempur Sealy compensation and audit committees. Mr. Neu has served on the board of TICC Capital Corporationration since December 2016 and currently serves on the TICC Capital audit, nominating and corporate governance, and valuation and compensation committees. Mr. Neu served on the board of the Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group from 2006 to 2012 until its sale to Hertz Corporationrationration. He served as the lead director from December 2011 to November 2012, and served as chairman of the board from November 2010 to December 2011. He previously served as chairman of the audit committee and as a member of the corporate governance committee since 2010.
