Mr. Claudio Galli serves as Chief Executive Officer of HERAmbiente Srl a subsidiary of Hera S.p.A. since February 4 2010. He was chief engineer for the Misano Adriatico municipal authorities from 1978 to 1986 then director of municipal firm Amia Rimini from 1986 to 1995. In 1991 he was made acting director of the management committee at the Coriano waste management plant in Rimini. From 1995 to 2002 he was COO of Amia S.p.A. and he was also vice chairman of the Italian association of compost producers from 1994 to 2003. He was a member of the environment coordination committee at Confservizi Emilia Romagna a member of the science committee at trade fair Ecomondo and a member of government working groups on setting rules for the waste collection sector. From November 2002 to March 2003 he was interim COO of Hera Rimini S.r.l. and also Director of Hera SpA Environment Division a job he held until June 2009. The following month when the division was spun off into HERAmbiente Srl he became COO of the company with responsibility for implementing and managing activities pertaining to treatment plants energy and waste collection and waste disposal pursuing a strategy of environmental protection and sustainability and investing in technologies to ensure development and transparency. He is a director of HERAmbiente Akron and Sotris and is also CEO of Fea Srl. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering. since 2010.
