Mr. George Judd Kirk is an Independent Director of HomeStreet Inc. Mr. Kirk has served as a member of the board of directors of the Bank since 2008 and became a director of HomeStreet, Inc. following the closing of our initial public offering in February 2012. From February 2012 until March 2015, Mr. Kirk served as Lead Independent Director of the Banks board of directors. Mr. Kirk served as president of Port Blakely Communities, Inc. from 1997 to 2007 and as its Chief Executive Officer from 2007 to 2008. Prior to joining Port Blakely Communities, he served as president of Skinner Development Company and until 1986, chaired the Real Estate Department of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP in Seattle. Mr. Kirk is a past member of the Washington State Bar Association . He has previously served as a member of the Urban Land Institute, American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and the Pacific Real Estate Institute. He has also been a member of the boards of directors of several community organizations, including University of Washington Physicians and the Cascade Land Conservancy. Mr. Kirk has previously served as the chairman of the WSBA Real Property, Probate and Trust Section, President of the Issaquah Chamber of Commerce and President of the University of Washington Alumni Association since 2012.
