Ann H. Benjamin, Managing Director, joined the firm in 1997. Ann is the Chief Investment Officer for NonInvestment Grade Credit and CoPortfolio Manager for high yield portfolios and blended credit strategies. She directs all aspects of the noninvestment grade credit business including research, trading and portfolio management. Ann serves on the firms Partnership Committee and is a member of the investment team setting overall strategy. She came to the firm with 16 years of experience in the investment business, including eight years at Stein Roe where she managed the Stein Roe Income Fund, the High Yield Fund, and 3.5 billion in insurance assets which included international and emerging market debt. Other experience includes Allstate Insurance Company where Ann comanaged 1 billion in high yield assets and Westinghouse Credit Corporationration, where she managed high yield, mezzanine debt and equity securities.
