Mr. William Beckwith Hayden serves as Independent Director of Ivanhoe Mines Ltd., since March 2007. William Hayden is a geologist with over 35 years experience in the mineral exploration industry, much of which was in Africa and the AsiaPacific region. He was involved with Ivanhoe since the amalgamation of African Mineral Corporationration with China Industrial Minerals Company Ltd. in 1998, and served as its President from May 1998 to November 2001. Since 1986, Mr. Hayden has worked in a management capacity with several exploration and mining companies both in Australia and overseas. Mr. Hayden served as President of Ivanhoe Philippines, Inc. from July 2005 to December 2011. Mr. Hayden currently serves as a director of the following publicly listed companies Trilogy Metals Inc., Noble Metals Ltd. and Globe Metals and Mining Ltd. . He served as a NonExecutive director of Ivanhoe Australia Ltd. from November 2006 to May 2010 and director of China Polymetallic Mining Ltd. since 2018.
