He also holds the position of Vice President of ABI the Associazione Bancaria Italiana of which he is a Member of the Executive Committee and the Board. He is also Vice President of the Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Reale Mutua Assicurazioni and of Si Holding SpA. In 2003 he was awarded the honour of Cavaliere del Lavoro. Since December 2006 he was President of the Centro Estero per lInternazionalizzazione del Piemonte. since 2006.
