Dr. Herbert Stepic serves as an Independent Commissioner of PT Matahari Department Store Tbk since May 28, 2015. He has over 40 years of banking experience. From 2002 to present, he is the Vice President of the International Chamber of Commerce . He previously served as the CEO of Raiffeisen Bank international AG and Senior Advisor to the Board of Raiffeisen Bank International AG, Austria. He is a member of the Board of the Austrian Romanian Society, an Honorary President of the AustrianArab Chamber of Commerce, EURussia Industrialists Round Table, and Ukranian Domestic and Foreign Investors Advisory Council. He received many awards since 1999. His latest award is Grand Decoration of Honor in Gold for Services to the Republic of Austria, awarded by the President of the Republic of Austria, Heinz Fischer, in 2012. He received his Master degree in Business Administration and Doctorate degree in Economics and Commerce from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, Austria. since 2015.
