Dr. Steven R J Brueck is Independent Director of the Company. He served as one of directors since July 2001. Since July 2016, he has served as Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer at Armonica Technologies, Inc. He is a Distinguished Professor, Emeritus of Electrical and Computer Engineering and of Physics at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which he joined in 1985. Although he retired in 2014, he remains active as a University of New Mexico Research Professor. From 1986 to 2013, he served as Director of the Center for High Technology Materials. He is a graduate of Columbia University with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he received his Masters and Doctorate of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering. Dr. Brueck is a fellow of The Optical Society of America, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the National Academy of Inventors. Dr. Bruecks expertise in optics and optics applications, as well as his extensive fifty years of research experience in optics, lasers, detectors, lithography, nonlinear optics, and related fields qualify him for service as one of our directors. since 2001.
