He also served as senior vice president and general merchandise manager for cosmetics, accessories, dresses, suits, intimate apparel and hosiery at the Bostonbased FileneKaufmann division of May Company. A native of Belmont, MA, Kantor joined Filene in Boston in 1981 as an assistant buyer for men. He is a graduate of the University of MassachusettsAmherst and lives in the New York City area.
