Mr. Francis P. McGuire is NonIndependent Director of Major Drilling Group International Inc. Mr. McGuire was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation from August 2000 to September 2015. Prior to joining the Corporationrationration, Mr. McGuire served as Vice President, Business Development of MITI Information Technology Inc. Mr. McGuire has also served as Deputy Minister of the Department of Economic Development and Tourism of the Province of New Brunswick. He holds an M.A. in international studies, trade and economics from Johns Hopkins Universitys School of Advanced International Relations, a diploma in European politics from the Institut dtudes Politiques in Paris and a B.A. from Dalhousie University. He also holds a directorship with Industrial Alliance, a reporting issuer. He is the Chair of the Wallace McCain Institute of Business Leadership at the University of New Brunswick, and PastChair but current member of the New Brunswick Business Council, and he also sits on the boards of two private companies. Mr. McGuire is a member of the Environment, Health and Safety Committee. He was a Director of the Corporation since 2001. since 2015.
