Mr. Brian Chad Sigman is the Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer of the Company. Mr. Sigman joined Angelo Gordon in 2013 and is the firms Chief Financial Officer. He also currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of the firms Structured Credit Platform, and was our Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and Treasurer since September 4, 2013. Previously, Mr. Sigman was the Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and Treasurer of Newcastle Investment Corporationration from August 2008 to May 2013. Mr. Sigman was also a Managing Director of Newcastles external manager, an affiliate of Fortress Investment Group LLC. Mr. Sigman served as Vice President of Finance of Newcastle from 2006 to 2008 and as Assistant Controller from 2003 through 2006. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Sigman was a Senior Auditor at Ernst Young LLP. He has served as an executive officer of the Company since 2013 and as a director since 2018. Due to his broad experience in accounting and real estate finance and his experience as a Chief Financial Officer of publicly traded companies in our sector, we believe Mr. Sigman should serve as a member of our board of directors. since 2014.
