In 1974, Bill was responsible for bringing two West Germany groups to Canada to form West German tax oriented partnerships, and in 1976 Bill was responsible for an additional German partnership group which largely focused on uranium and precious metals in North America. From 1974 to the late 1980 these German partnerships, invested hundreds of millions of dollars in oil and gas, uranium and gold exploration projects in Canada and the US, resulting in the development of three gold mines, three uranium mines, one copper mine and many oil and gas projects. Mr. Grafham was the founder, a investor and a Board member of numerous private and public resource companies. since 2012.
