CEO

Mr. Robert F. Baldock, CA, FCPA, FIMC, is Executive Chairman of the Board of the Company. Mr. Robert Baldock is the founder of Monument and has invaluable allround experience as a mining executive for decades. He had been CEO and President of Monument for more than 12 years from the very beginning, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors from time to time since 1998. Under his leadership, Monument has grown from ground zero to a junior gold producer with total gross revenue of more than US350 million to date. Today, Monument has built up strong assets of US253 million on its balance sheet. These assets have formed a foundation for further growth, including Selinsing Gold Mine in Malaysia with its initial gold inventory being fully replaced, and the Burnakura Gold Project presently being developed at the Murchison area in Western Australia, potentially to be turned into a second cash flow generation operation with both open pit and underground gold mines since 2018.

Monument Mining Management Efficiency

The company has return on total asset (ROA) of (0.023) % which means that it has lost $0.023 on every $100 spent on assets. This is way below average. Similarly, it shows a return on equity (ROE) of (0.0449) %, meaning that it generated substantial loss on money invested by shareholders. Monument Mining's management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well Monument Mining manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities.
The company has accumulated 47 K in total debt with debt to equity ratio (D/E) of 0.0, which may suggest the company is not taking enough advantage from borrowing. Monument Mining has a current ratio of 6.62, suggesting that it is liquid and has the ability to pay its financial obligations in time and when they become due. Debt can assist Monument Mining until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Monument Mining's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Monument Mining sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Monument to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Monument Mining's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.
