Prior thereto, Mr. Barr was President and Chief Operating Officer, as well as a member of the Board of Directors, of Quaker State Corporation from June 1995 to 1999. Prior to joining Quaker State, Mr. Barr spent 25 years with the Valvoline Company, a subsidiary of Ashland Inc., where he was President and Chief Executive Officer from 1987 to 1995. Mr. Barr currently serves on the U.S. Advisory Council of Glasswall Holdings, Inc., a security software technology firm since 2002.
