Dan Shackelford is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Trust Company. He is a portfolio manager and member of the portfolio strategy team for the core and core plus mandates in the Fixed Income Division. Dan is president and chairman of the Investment Advisory Committees of the New Income, Inflation Protected Bond, and Inflation Focused Bond Funds. He also chairs the Fixed Income Derivatives Committee and is a member of the firms Asset Allocation Committee. Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Dan was the principal and head of fixed income for Investment Counselors of Maryland. He earned a B.S. in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.B.A. in finance from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business, where he was a Fuqua Scholar. Dan also earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a former president of the Baltimore CFA Society.
