Mr. Richard E. Kroon is Lead Independent Director of Cohen Steers Select Preferred and Income Fund, Inc., since 2006. He was Member of Investment Committee, Monmouth University since 2004 Retired Chairman and Managing Partner of Sprout Group VC funds, then an affiliate of Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette Securities Corporation from 1981 to 2001. Former chairman of the National VC Association for the year 2000. In addition to his tenure as a Director of various Cohen Steers funds, Mr. Kroon has served as the Cohen Steers Fund Complexs lead Independent Director since 2006, acting as liaison between the Boards and the Independent Directors. Mr. Kroon has over 30 years of investment and management experience. In addition, he has served on the boards of several public and private companies, and charitable foundations.
