Mr. Kare Johannes Lie was appointed as Executive Chairman of the Board of Reach Subsea ASA, effective as of May 26, 2014. He no longer serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Company, effective as of May 26, 2014. He has held this position since December 4, 2012. He is educated as a MS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Norges TekniskNaturvitenskapelige Universitet, NTNU in Trondheim. He was founder and CEO of DeepOcean AS from 1999 to 2008 when the company was sold to the American company Trico. Prior to that, he was working as Director in different positions for StoltNielsen Seaway and Acergy Subsea 7 for 17 years. The last three years he has worked for DeepOcean as Project Director and Strategy and Business Development Manager. since 2014.
