He was Secretary of State for Energy and Natural Resources and to date has held the position of Corporationrationrate Director of Shared Services at Repsol YPF. From 1987 to 1991 he was Head of Sales at INH Executive Director of Marketing for Repsol Petroleo Executive Sales Director of Repsol S.A. and in December 1991 he was named Executive ViceChairman of Repsol Comercial de Productos Petroliferos a post he held until his appointment in May 1996 as Secretary of State for Energy and Mineral Resources in the Ministry of Industry and Energy. He graduated in Economics and Business Sciences from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. since 2014.
