Mr. Berghuis was chairman of the committee. He started at T. Rowe Price in 1985 as an analyst following the retail sector, and he became a portfolio manager in 1992. Previously, Berghuis was a summer research associate at Dominion Securities Pitfield and spent two years at Kidder, Peabody Co. as a deferred admission associate in utility corporate finance. Berghuis earned a BA, cum laude, from Princeton Universitys Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He also holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Berghuis has earned the CFA designation.
