From April 1993 to February 1996 he was a corporate finance manager at Banco ING Barings and joined Santander Brazil in March 1996 working as a manager of corporate client relations executive manager of relations with corporate clients executive superintendent of commercial financing in Brazil and managing executive officer of global operation banking services in Brazil. He graduated in Business Administration from the Universidade de Sao Paulo.
