Mr. Raden Soeyono serves as President Commissioner of PT Surya Citra Media Tbk since 2005. He began his career after finishing his education in the National Military Academy, Magelang, in 1965. He has experienced with postings through a number of Infantry divisions, ranging from Platoon Commander, to Battalion Commander. In addition, he has served as a Military instructor in the Infantry Training Centre, and as a lecturer in the Army Commando School in Bandung, as President Soehartos adjutant, as the ViceAssistant to the Chief of Staffs Security Army as the Vice Commander of the Infantrys Central Army, Chief of Commandos in Military District IISriwijaya and Commander of Commandos in Military District IV Diponegoro. He has also attained the rank of Lieutenant General while serving as the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Indonesia while serving as Secretary of the Board of the Coordination of National Security. He was posted in the government as SecretaryGeneral of the Department of Defense and Security. He was given the opportunity to participate in the 23rd National Defence Force Regular Course and earned his Bachelors degree in Economics in the Open University . He is often requested by the National Defense Institution as a speaker both for regular and short courses held by the National Defense Institution. since 2005.
