Sea Management Efficiency

The company has Return on Asset (ROA) of 0.0119 % which means that for every $100 of assets, it generated a profit of $0.0119. This is way below average. Likewise, it shows a return on total equity (ROE) of 0.026 %, which means that it produced $0.026 on every 100 dollars invested by current stockholders. Sea's management efficiency ratios could be used to measure how well Sea manages its routine affairs as well as how well it operates its assets and liabilities. At present, Sea's Return On Capital Employed is projected to increase slightly based on the last few years of reporting. The current year's Return On Assets is expected to grow to 0.01, whereas Return On Equity is forecasted to decline to 0.02. At present, Sea's Net Tangible Assets are projected to increase significantly based on the last few years of reporting. The current year's Non Current Assets Total is expected to grow to about 7.5 B, whereas Total Current Assets are forecasted to decline to about 6.3 B.
The company reports 4.45 B of total liabilities with total debt to equity ratio (D/E) of 0.95, which is normal for its line of buisiness. Sea has a current ratio of 1.88, which is generally considered normal. Debt can assist Sea until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Sea's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Sea sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Sea to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Sea's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity.

The market value of Sea is measured differently than its book value, which is the value of Sea that is recorded on the company's balance sheet. Investors also form their own opinion of Sea's value that differs from its market value or its book value, called intrinsic value, which is Sea's true underlying value. Investors use various methods to calculate intrinsic value and buy a stock when its market value falls below its intrinsic value. Because Sea's market value can be influenced by many factors that don't directly affect Sea's underlying business (such as a pandemic or basic market pessimism), market value can vary widely from intrinsic value.
