Mr. Thomas C. Tiller, Jr. serves as an Independent Director of the Company. Previously, he served as chairman and chief executive officer of Abound Solar, Inc. In 1988, he was appointed president of Polaris Industries, Inc. and from 1999 to 2008 served as chief executive officer of Polaris, a leading manufacturer of recreational and utility vehicles. Under his direction at Polaris, the company introduced more than 150 new products with a stateoftheart product development process and began the globalization of the company. Prior to Polaris, Tiller had a 15year career at General Electric, where he progressed through a variety of technical and managerial roles in its Aerospace and Appliances divisions to become vice president of purchasing and manufacturing where he increased conversion cost productivity, improved supplier quality, drove refrigeration and laundry capacity expansions, and introduced several new products to market. As vice president and general manager of GE Silicones, he significantly increased operating profitability, completed a joint venture and launched the companys Six Sigma initiative. Tillers prior experience with public company boards, his executive experience with various companies and his expertise in engineering, consumer retail, marketing and management make him highly qualified to serve on our board of directors. since 2015.
