He also holds Postgraduate degrees in Industrial Economics from FEA Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and Industrial Engineering and Finance from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro . Mr. Kalache developed his career at Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Economico e Social between 1974 and 2008. During this period, he held several senior management positions, including as Superintendent of all industrial operations of the bank. Mr. Kalache coordinated activities related to the development, analysis and monitoring of operations in various sectors of manufacturing, commerce and services. since 2013.
