Mr. Smith is an industry veteran with more than 33 years of gaming experience. He joined Boyd Gaming in 1990 and held various executive positions before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2001. In 2005, Mr. Smith was named President and elected as a director of Boyd Gaming and in 2008 he assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer.
