Previously, he served as NonExecutive Director at the Company from 2003 till March 30, 2011. He also serves as Chairman of the Nomination and Compensation Committee. He is also the nonexecutive Chairman of the Board of Mettler Toledo International Inc., a global manufacturer and marketer of precision instruments and related services for use in laboratory, manufacturing, and food retailing applications. He joined Mettler Toledo in 1983 and was Chief Executive Officer from 1993 to 2007. He led the buyout of Mettler Toledo from CibaGeigy in 1996, and the companys subsequent Initial Public Offering on the New York Stock Exchange in 1997. In 1998, he was nominated as Chairman of the Board since 2011.
