Mr. Dennis Eidson is Chairman of the Board of the Company. He was a director of SpartanNash since October 2007. Chief Executive Officer from October 2008 until his retirement in May 2017, and served as President of SpartanNash from October 2007 to August 2016, Chief Operating Officer from February 2007 to October 2008, and our Executive Vice President Marketing and Merchandising from March 2003 to February 2007. Prior to joining SpartanNash, Mr. Eidson served as the Divisional President and Chief Executive Officer of APs Midwest region from October 2000 to July 2002, as the Executive Vice President Sales and Merchandising of APs Midwest region from March 2000 to October 2000, and as the Vice President of Merchandising of APs Farmer Jack division from June 1997 to March 2000. Mr. Eidson brings valuable insight and knowledge to the Board due to his service as President and Chief Executive Officer.
