Mr. Shamber previously served as an independent business consultant from January 2016 to September 2017, Senior Vice President of United Natural Foods, Inc. from October 2015 to December 2015, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of UNFI from October 2006 to October 2015. Prior to holding that position, Mr. Shamber served in financial and accounting positions of increasing authority with UNFI since June 2003. From February 1995 to June 2003, Mr. Shamber served in various positions within the assurance and advisory business services practice at the international accounting firm of Ernst Young LLP. since 2017.
