Mr. Sanquini retired from National Semiconductor in 1999 after a 20year tenure, where he managed key business units, including microprocessors and microcontrollers, served as Chief Technology Officer, managed business development and intellectual property protection, and was Chairman of the Board of Directors for two China joint ventures. Prior to National Semiconductor, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Information Storage Devices and in various executive positions at RCA. Mr. Sanquini is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pixelworks Inc., a NASDAQ Global Select Marketlisted company that designs, develops, and markets video and pixel processing semiconductors and software for digital video applications, and is on the Boards of Directors of two private companies R2 Semiconductor and Keyssa. Mr. Sanquini previously served on the Board of Directors of Validity Sensors, Inc., or Validity, which we acquired in fiscal 2014 since 1994.
