Mr. Hakon Bruaset Kjol no longer serves as Acting Executive Vice President and Chief Corporationrationrate Affairs Officer at TELENOR ASA effective as of October 1, 2018. He has held the position since July 1, 2018. He joined Telenor in 1995 in the domestic mobile operation in Norway. Since then he has gained extensive international experience through his involvement in Telenors international mobile network operator activities in Europe and Asia. He has played a key role in managing the business environment in the areas of regulatory and public affairs, government and public relations, corporate communications and sustainability, particularly in Asia. Kjol has served as Telenor Groups Head of Corporationrationrate Affairs for the Asia region, and was until his appointment as acting EVP serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Group Public Regulatory Affairs for Telenor Group. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of several Telenor Group companies in Asia, including Telenor Myanmar, Telenor Pakistan, dtac, Grameenphone and Digi. He holds a MBA degree from BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo. since 2018.
