Hugh McGuirk is Fund Manager at Virginia Tax Free Bond
Hugh McGuirk is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., and a portfolio manager in the Fixed Income Division. He is head of the Municipal Bond team and a member of the Fixed Income Steering Committee. Hugh is president of the Summit Municipal Funds, the State TaxFree Income Trust Funds, and the California TaxFree Income Trust Funds. He also is portfolio manager and chairman of the Investment Advisory Committee for the Georgia, Maryland, and Virginia TaxFree Bond Funds. Prior to joining the firm in 1993, Hugh was an assistant vice president and municipal underwriter at Alex. Brown Sons in Baltimore. He earned a B.S. in applied mathematics from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Hugh also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He is past president of the Municipal Bond Club of Baltimore and a member of the Baltimore CFA Society.
