He is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee and the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee of the Company. He holds a BS degree in Mathematics and a MS degree in Operational Research and Management. He is also an independent nonexecutive director of CKH and CK Hutchison, which are substantial shareholders of the Company within the meaning of Part XV of the SFO, CKI, CNNC International Limited, Creative Energy Solutions Holdings Limited, Greenland Hong Kong Holdings Limited, HTHKH, New World Department Store China Limited and Skyworth Digital Holdings Limited, all being listed in Hong Kong. He is also an independent director of BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited, a company listed in Thailand, and an executive director and the deputy chairman of Worldsec Limited, a company listed in London. He was previously an independent nonexecutive director of Hong Kong Jewellery Holding Limited. He is also a member of the Securities and Futures Appeals Tribunal and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Securities and Futures Commission, and was previously a member of the Disciplinary Panel of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. since 2000.
