Mr. J. W. Nokes is Independent Director of the Company. Mr. Nokes spent his 36year career with ConocoPhillips an international integrated energy company and retired in 2006 as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Refining Marketing Supply and Transportation. His background primarily includes refining marketing crude and products trading commercial natural gas operations and transportation. He also had assignments in exploration and production as well as strategic planning. In 1991 he was appointed Vice President of U.S. Marketing and Product Trading. From 1994 to 1999 he was Vice President of U.S. Downstream Business. For eight years beginning in 1999 he was Executive Vice President of Refining Marketing Supply and Transportation for the companys global business. Mr. Nokes was a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and sat on the Board of Directors of the American Petroleum Institute as well as the American Petroleum Institute Transportation Marketing and Downstream Committee since 2007.
