Kevin joined TI in 1978 as a product engineer in TIs defense business, following his graduation from the University of Dayton with a bachelors of engineering degree in electrical engineering. Two years later he moved to TIs Semiconductor business, where he held various waferfab assignments in product and RD engineering. He was named a wafer fab manager in 1990, manager of TIs worldwide applicationspecific products manufacturing operations in 1996, and senior vice president in charge of TIs worldwide manufacturing operations in 2000.
