Ms. Eileen C. McDonnell is an Independent Director of Universal Health Services, Inc., since April 1, 2013. Ms. McDonnell currently serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company since her appointment in February 2011. Ms. McDonnell joined Penn Mutual in 2008 and previously served as President of the company. She was also appointed to The Penn Mutual Board of Trustees in 2010. Ms. McDonnell also serves on the Board of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Penn Mutual. Before joining Penn Mutual, Ms. McDonnell founded ExecMPower, a strategic planning and executive coaching consultancy. Previously, she was president of New England Financial, a whollyowned subsidiary of MetLife, and senior vice president of the Guardian Life Insurance Company. Ms. McDonnell serves as the Chairman of the Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania. She also serves on the Corporationrationrate Council of Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and is a national advisor to Vision 2020, an initiative of Drexel University College of Medicine Institute for Womens Health and Leadership. since 2020.
