Mr. Cyrillus Harinowo serves as an Independent Commissioner of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk since 2004. He graduated with Accounting degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, in 1977, and holds a Masters degree in Development Economics from the Centre for Development Economics, Williams College, USA, and a PhD in Monetary and International Policy from Vanderbilt University, USA . He is also currently an Independent Commissioner of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk . Prior to that, he served at Bank Indonesia for 25 years, including a term as Head of the Money Market and Monetary Management Department, a directorlevel position. From 1998 to 2003 he served as Alternate Executive Director and Technical Assistance Advisor at the Monetary and Exchange Affairs Department of the International Monetary Fund in Washington. From 1988 to 1989 he was Assistant to the Minister of Trade, and his career has included several other senior managerial positions in government and nongovernment institutions. He currently teaches at several prominent universities in Jakarta and frequently speaks at domestic and international seminars, as well as writing for various media publications. since 2004.
